New Orleans

Justin, Eli and I took a day trip to New Orleans last Saturday with our friend Jenise. It was a very long day, but a lot of fun and well worth it. Justin loved the architecture, I loved the food and music, and Eli loved being held a lot. That may be all he loved since he didn't get good naps and the food was too spicy for him, but we'll say a good time was had by all!

Holly and Justin in front of a paddleboat. There was pipe organ music playing that reached several streets over and was fun to listen to.

A street band we heard- just like in the movies!

A lovely shot that I took. The city is obviously still being rebuilt and restored, but they are doing a great job and the spirit of the people has not been affected!

Eli sporting his new winter coat and hat. The coat has a hood on it, but I had to buy him a toboggan that tied under his chin to keep him from pulling it off. Even then it lasted only so long.
