We met our friends Jeff, Canna, Brooklyn and Brianna in Amarillo a few weeks ago to explore the zoo there. It was small, but we had a great time with friends and the kids enjoyed the playground as much as the animals. All went well, even without naps, until our littlest friend Brianna fell and scraped her chin, mouth and nose. We departed soon after for ice cream.

Jeff, Eli and Brooklyn taunting the peacock. This was one of Eli's favorite finds, and he tormented the poor bird with his stick 'gun'. Eli was also fascinated with the snake exhibit, the 'scewy snakes'! He has since come up with a unique noise he makes and we are to beware of the scewy snake when he directs it at us!
